- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 6-8 seeds Sichuan Peppercorns, crushed
This is one of the easiest ways to make a flavorful and elegant-looking potato dish.
Directions
Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly in cold water and cut them into halves. Put the potatoes in a mixing bowl, and pour olive oil from the top. I sometimes cheat by using mustard oil, which adds distinct flavor and aroma to the potatoes when cooked. Add salt and Sichuan peppercorns followed by basil and garlic. Use your hands to mix it all together.
Place the potatoes in a baking dish and bake at 350F for about 45 minutes or until browned and crisp on the surface.
